Retired Chief of Police, Southern University at New Orleans Police Department, and retired New Orleans Police Department Lieutenant. Certified FBI and State of Louisiana, Police Education Instructor. Former Administrator of Security and Investigations for New Orleans Public Schools, and former Training Coordinator for the New Orleans Juvenile Justice Intervention Center. Former member of the Orleans Parish School Board for District 1.

Trained and experienced in Anti-Terrorism, Counter Drug Trafficking, Crisis Intervention, Crisis Negotiations, Critical Incident Management and Professional Leadership Development and Active Shooter. Has a Bachelor of Criminal Justice Degree from Loyola University New Orleans, and Master of Criminal Justice from Southern University at New Orleans. 1975 Graduate of George Washington Carver Senior High School, “Mighty Rams.” Former member of the NAACP, and mentor with the Volunteers of America.
